Leao has a sad story, he was removed in poor condition with other dogs from a hoarder, he was in the shelter for over a year before someone offered him a chance of a home in Finland, just before travelling he got a poorly tummy and lost out on a flight buddy – the family decided not to wait for him 😓.
Since then Leao, who is a real soft people dog has spent his days mostly alone in the shelter waiting for someone to chose him, he got sick again with Erythrocytosis which is easily managed with drugs and avoiding him overheating. More recently, he has had to have some non cancerous growths removed from his tummy and his face and has started having some issues with his sight.
Its so sad to see him languishing in the shelter with no real interest.
I have to say again, Leao would like to be an only dog, however he behaves very well when out on lead, he just doesnt like to share his space with other furries.
